Time For A Revamp!

I have been wanting to update my website for a while and at the moment I have one page that links to a lot of other pages on different websites.  

Now that Flickr has announced that it will change the way you log into your account on their site (I don't really want to open a Yahoo account, I already have to many!) I saw this as an opportunity to revamp the website!

So I wanted to let you know that the URL www.thejellyempire.com might be down for a little bit but other areas like this blog, Flickr (for now), Facebook, Twitter, etc will not be shut down while the upgrade is taking place.

I'm hoping to bring everything together and eventually in the future have everything on one website.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for understanding!

Blood Type Positive+ Show

In Waldwick,NJ this weekend, SubUrban Vinyl are hosting are custom designer toy show called Blood Type Positive+.  The piece itself is a Vampire Blood Droplet created by the artist named Nemo.  The show will feature a huge variety of artists as you can see from the flyer below.

Pop Culture Expo Recap!

Last weekend I attended the Pop Culture Expo over in Wilmington MA.  It was a lovely weekend and it felt great to be outside NYC for a mini vacation (sort of, lol!).  I must say that it was a lot of fun.  I had great neighbours, the crowd was super friendly and I even got the chance to chat with Ernie Hudson! 

I feel like I have finally recovered from a crazy May month so now it's time to get back into work mode, back on to on going projects and return some emails.

Pop Culture Expo This Weekend!!

After a crazy month with my day job, I'm ready to get back on to the world domination with Jelly the robot.  So what better way to start it all off than to head over the Wilmington, MA for the Pop Culture Expo!

If you are in the neighbourhood then head over to the Expo!  I will be in the artists alley so come and say hi!

The event is both 

Saturday 24th May 10-6pm and
Sunday 25th May 10-5pm.

Robot Month!!

The Playbot Bunnies have taken the next flight out over to Sacramento, CA to get ready for Robot Month at the Art Of Toys Gallery!  

The 'Robots' Exhibition will run through the month of May so be sure to check it out if you are in the neighbourhood!

Post MoCCA Fest Write Up!

MoCCA Arts Fest was really fun and I've finally recovered from the fantastic weekend!

I want to say a big thank you for everyone that came down to the event because without you these things could not continue.  It was great to catch up with old friends and also make new ones!

I had a great weekend and even sold out of a few things!  

All my remaining items (Apart from my T-shirts, they will be online next week) are now in my shop!

New Collectibles For MoCCA Festival 2014

This is one of my favourite events apart from the infamous NYCC (I'll be there again too this year).

The Portable Billboard Series Backpack

The Jelly Empire x Obed Boardbags

A little while ago I post up some preview images of a collaboration I was doing with Obed Boardbags.  He is the creator of the Portable Billboard Series ('PBS' for short) backpack.  The PBS is a blank canvas backpack of which you can customise to make your own portable visual statement!!  What a great idea!

So here it is... my finished bag!

NYCBM Recap!

It's been a week since the New York Comic Book Marketplace and I've finally recovered!

I had a lot of fun at the event and met a lot of great people!  Jelly has found his way into many hearts once again!   

The show went great and I had a great reaction to all my new works, and I'm happy to say, my plush Jellybots have SOLD OUT!  

Big thanks for everyone that came down and making it a great event!

Now it's time to start getting ready for MoCCA Festival.  This will be at the 69th Regiment Armoury 5th and 6th April.  I will keep you up to date with new releases and additional info as I go along.

The Jelly Empire at NYCBM!

My first event of the year is this weekend at the New York Comic Book Marketplace!!!  It will be the first time I'm doing the event so I'm very excited to see what it's all about.

It will only be a one day event so don't miss out!

The Jelly Empire x Obed Boardbags

I have teamed up with Obed Boardbags to work on a special project called the 'Portable Billboard Series' or 'P.B.S' for short!  

The sole purpose for these bags is customising!  This new kind of blank canvas is perfect for making your own statement and are also completely handmade by Obed Boardbags himself! 

I am quite honoured to be the first person the take up the challenge so I just wanted to share with you all a  little sneak peek of what I have planned.
