New Etsy Item!

Hello folks!!


I have just placed a new item in my shop of my boomboxatron!  Take a look at the style robot printed with gold metallic ink on a black tote bag!  Go on!  You know you want it!

Shepard Fairey

While searching through some files the other day, I came across these photos that I had forgotten about.  I actually took these around the beginning of the summer.


These murals are the works of Shepard Fairey who is also well known for the 'Andre the Giant has a Posse' (OBEY) sticker campaign.  These were part of a gallery exhibit that he was holding here in NY, of which I unfortunately missed :( but at least I got to see these before they got covered up!!

I love how there was artwork inside the artwork!

New York Comic Con 2010!

It's been a while since I had any new posts, but I have been super busy with everything and now I have a lot of goodies lined up for your viewing!  


At the beginning of the month it was New York Comic Con!  It was hectic and overwhelming weekend!  I was really hoping to buy toys and graphics novels but I really couldn't get in anywhere to see things properly and I only had so much time there.  But.. I did manage to take pictures of some of the costumes I saw.

Brian Viveros

These beautiful paintings are from the artist Brian Viveros. I love his style and the bad ass look of the women.  There is a great interview at this link if you want to know more info of this artist.

New York Comic Con!!

Yes it is that time again! New York Comic Con is this weekend!


I can't wait to nerd out my weekend with comics, toys, sci-fi and fantasy.  I must also remember not to go over board buying graphics novels and toys.  Of course Stan Lee himself will be attending and I even heard the B-movie, hero and legend, Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, Bubba Ho-Tepp), will be there!  Groovy!

The Shabby Chic Garden

On my visit to Pennsylvania this weekend, I had the chance to head over to the street fair in Media, where I came across this fabulous little shop!!


Silver spoons, knives, forks, teapots and even horseshoes and seashells, had been transformed into these beautiful whimsical windchimes.
