Jeff Soto and Dave Cooper Exhibit

I recently went to see a fantastic exhibition at the Johnathan LeVine Gallery in NYC. On one side was 'Lifecycle', an exhibit by Jeff Soto, which the artist refers it to 'life, death and the bit in between'. 'Mangle' showed works by the artist Dave Cooper, with the disturbing nude and sexual imagery he 'explores themes of libido, hedonism, body image and fantasy'. Each artist has their own style and technique and I loved everything I saw. Even though my pictures will not do the artwork any justice (some of these works were huge!) I just wanted to share my favourite pieces! Great work!

Say Anything

Last week was the beginning of the free summer film nights in New York city. So with my blankets, snacks and beer I headed over to the one playing in Williamsburg, where they were showing 'Say Anything'.

Feeling inspired by its most famous scene, I had to recreate it with Jelly! Hope you likey!

Don't Do it!

I recently stumbled across this website called 'you thought we wouldn't notice'. It's a site where people have discovered copycats of either their own or of somebody's else work.

Plagiarism is WRONG!! SO VERY WRONG! You should never ever do it. To all artist/designers/musicians/writers, please be careful. Copyright your work. Its so scary to see how close people will copy your work!

Visit the website to see how bad people out there will do anything to cheat a little.

I heart Holga

So a couple of weeks ago I got a new toy to play with and I have been loving it! I have fallen for the Holga camera. With only 2 films developed so far, I have been getting some cool images. I really love the black and white ones so far.

Here they are!
